Original Duolian by Dobro Resonator

Loose neck joint of Dobro
Poor fitting neck joint, a structural problem which results in a loss of sound transference.

The old nut.
This old nut has many options for string spacing, unfortunately none of them are even. It will be replaced with a new nut with comfortable, even spacing, and a better material for tone.

Re-attaching the rim for the resonator cone.
Here the rim of the resonator is being re-attached after re-fitting the neck bar to the tail block and the heel to the body.

Here is a view of the neck after re-fitting. The neck bar was also trimmed to fit the body and attach to the tailblock. The continuous contact will let the vibrations / sound of the instrument ring as a whole.

New nut on Dobro.
This is the new bone nut on the Dobro with even spacing.
